Dr. Adewumi Ojetoyinbo has spent more than 17 years helping people hear better and live with more confidence.
She began her career as an audiologist at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital in 2008. In 2009 she joined National Hospital Abuja, one of Nigeria’s leading tertiary hospitals, where she has practised ever since.
Her work covers the full journey of hearing care. She prevents hearing loss where it can be avoided, diagnoses it accurately when it happens, and supports patients through rehabilitation afterward. She also treats tinnitus (ringing or buzzing in the ears) and vestibular disorders, the balance and dizziness problems that often go unrecognised.
After years of seeing patients in one of the country’s busiest hospitals, she knows that hearing loss is rarely just about the ears. It affects how people work, how children learn, and how families talk to each other. Her approach is to take time with every patient, explain results in plain language, and build a care plan around how that person actually lives.
